Dianna has experience working with mental health using several different unique modalities including Sand tray, equine assisted therapy and expressive art. Dianna is passionate about trauma resolution as well as how it relates to psychosis. Dianna also has experience using play therapy with children that have experienced physical, emotional or sexual abuse. Dianna graduated from the university of north Texas in 2005 with a Bachelors in Psychology and received her Masters of Arts in Counseling from Sam Houston state university. Dianna enjoys using creativity to work with clients and utilizing assessments to gain insight and information about the client's world.

In her therapeutic approach, she believes that each individual is unique. Her treatment approach is customized to bring greater self-awareness, psychological healing, and inner satisfaction. Dianna has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in treating psychosis, anxiety disorders, depression, self-esteem issues, eating disorders, and other issues faced in the journey of life. Therefore, Dianna believes it is important to incorporate a knowledge of one's thinking process to overcome a negative feeling.

During her career, she has provided individual and group therapy to adolescents and adults suffering from schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, addiction disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. Dianna is certified to teach special education, early childhood through 12th grade, English as a second language, language arts, and is certified as a school counselor. She continues to develop specialize ways to interface with all adolescents and juveniles.
